How to play Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker

Part of Texas Hold’em popularity all over the world is due to the fact that it is very easy to learn and at the same time it is a game of strategy and tactics.

The goal of Texas Hold’em is to come up with the best poker hand by using the two cards dealt and the community cards.

To start a game of Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker a bet has to be placed in the Ante Box and an additional bet may be placed to play the bonus round. Once the bet or bets have been placed press the Deal button.

At the beginning of each hand the player is dealt two cards face up while the dealer gets two cards face down. To reveal the Flop cards press the Bet button, to reveal the Turn card you may bet the same Ante amount or you simply continue without doubling your bet. The same step applies to reveal the River card.

Once the Flop cards are revealed and you do not wish to continue playing, you may Fold. By folding you automatically lose the ante bet.

The Bonus side bet is won if your first two cards dealt match the pay table.

Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker Strategy

Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker is a thinking person’s game. The more you play it the more you’ll be able to decrease the odds against you.

When enjoying a new game of Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker you have to analyze your cards. Consider folding before the Flop if you have non-pair cards, both less than 10. It is important to keep an 8 and a 9 of the same suit because it gives you a chance at getting a straight or flush.

Don’t let yourself advance much into the game with a weak hand. It is best to lose the Ante bet at the beginning than to advance with limited possibilities and lose all your bets.

Start playing for fun at first, once you feel confident with the game switch to real money play but make sure you have set aside a bankroll you do without in case of a loss.

Tips

When playing Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker it is always important to remember two basic elements:

  1. The first two cards you are dealt will be the only two cards that will set you apart from the dealer’s cards and give a chance to win.
  2. The Flop, Turn and River cards are all community cards. Those are the cards that both the player and the dealer will use to come up with the best poker hand. It is very important to analyze how those cards could actually help the dealer come up with a better hand in order to make the right decisions. Be aware of the dealer’s chance at coming up with a straight and/or a flush.

Once the Flop cards are revealed it is ok to cut your losses. It is best to Fold then and only lose the Ante bet than to continue and lose all bets.

How to Play:

In Texas Hold’em Bonus Poker, player and the dealer play in one against one hand, meaning that only one good hand is required to beat the dealer. The purpose of the game is to get the highest-ranked five-card poker hand at the end. To get started with the game, an Ante bet has to be placed and player and dealer will receive two cards. The Player cards will be dealt face-up and the dealer’s face down. At this moment player may also place a Bonus Bet as a sidebet. Player can either bet or fold the hand. By folding the hand the Ante Bet is lost and hand is over. If player decides to play the hand a second wager is required and both, the Ante and Flop bets need to be placed. Once second bet has been placed three community cards that will be shared by both, player and dealer, will be dealt. Player can Call or Raise and make additional bets. Once third bet has been placed the fourth community card known as “The Turn” will be dealt giving the player the chance, once again, to Call or Raise. Once the fifth community card also known as “River” is dealt, dealer will reveal his hand to be compared with the player’s hand.

Game Tips:

Texas Hold'Em Bonus Poker Tip 1: Avoid playing this table game as the classic Texas Hold'em. Players have the chance to play almost any two cards since they are only playing against the dealer.
Texas Hold'Em Bonus Poker Tip 2: When playing always a good idea to fold unsuited hands, unrelated low cards both below seven, for example: 2-5 or 3-6.
Texas Hold'Em Bonus Poker Tip 3: A good strategy is to either place the bet or fold the hand right before community cards are dealt. By folding unsuited 2/3, 2/4, 2/5, 2/6, 2/7 and playing other hands the house edge is reduced.
